Senior Cutscenes Programmer, Hangar 13


We develop top AAA games for PC and consoles (XONE, PS4) distributed world-wide. We are one of the top game-developing companies. Our portfolio consists of titles such as Hidden & Dangerous, Vietcong, Top Spin 4, and Mafia. Also known as Hangar 13, we’re currently expanding our own proprietary engine and developing new tools in service of our next unannounced title.

We are seeking the talents of a highly self-motivated Cutscenes Programmer who enjoys a collaborative and creative work environment. The successful candidate will cooperate with a media team on the development of proprietary cutscenes technology.
This position offers a unique opportunity to cooperate with other programmers and creators and an opportunity to support their efforts to achieve a super-realistic gaming experience at the very edge of the possibilities of our target platforms (PC, XONE, and PS4).


  • Write code that meets the functional and technical requirements of the project
  • Provide the Lead Programmer with feedback regarding the time allotted to assigned tasks
  • Optimize code by taking full advantage of target hardware and architecture
  • Work with a proprietary existing software technology and build a new technology in order to meet the project’s technical requirements
  • Adhere to the project’s coding standards
  • Very close co-working with creators from other teams (custcenes team, game team, system team and tool team)


  • Excellent communication skills with an interest in working with other game developers in a cooperative team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or relevant work experience
  • Expertise with the C / C++ programming language along with a strong familiarity with OO design principles
  • 3+ years of programming experience on commercial software projects
  • Commitment to code quality, documentation and testing procedures
  • Communicative knowledge of English

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-processor programming
  • Knowledge of video/film editing and/or knowledge of postproduction tools. Interest in video/film editing, camera, computer visualization, graphic art, or computer animation.
  • Experience with editing in some of the robust types of software (Adobe Premiere, Edius, Avid, Final Cut etc.). Experience with some postproduction tools (Adobe After Effect, Nuke, DaVinci Resolve etc.)
  • Shipped Video Game title
